The scientific literature on tort obligations, one of the
key institutions of civil law, is analyzed, exploring the concept, signs
and grounds (conditions) for the occurrence of tort obligations, their
types, and the mechanism for implementing these obligations. The
problems of the application of tort liability and compensation for material
and moral harm to individuals or legal entities, public legal entities,
and the possibility of improving the institution of tort obligations are
identified.
