The article analyzes the concept, content and legal nature of the subjective right of citizens to biological safety and the corresponding obligations of the state to ensure the realization of this right. The mechanism of mandatory vaccination is considered as one of the elements of the right to biological safety. The elements of relativity of a citizen's subjective right to biological safety and the peculiarities of its implementation are revealed. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the right to biological safety is a complex subjective right that includes many different aspects, such as the right to health protection, to information, to a favorable environment, etc. The relativity of a citizen's right to biological safety is confirmed by the possibility of realizing the specific powers of a citizen assigned to him in the law, and specific corresponding duties on the part of the state.
