Principles of biosafety and human rights: current research directions

Abstract

The basic principles of biosafety and directions of scientific research in the field of ensuring biological safety in the context of human rights are considered. The points of view of scientists on legal issues arising in connection with the use of new biotechnologies and their impact on the development of the concept of human rights are analyzed. The presented scientific research confirms the versatility of the areas of legal regulation and the interdisciplinary nature of the legal complex – ensuring biological safety. It is emphasized that in the context of intensive development of biotechnologies, there is a gradual change in the human rights paradigm.
