Legal perspectives of the climate agenda as the basis of human biological safety: Russian and international aspects

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the legal regulation of the sphere of the national and global climate agenda in the light of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC, held in December 2023. Using comparative legal and system- logical research methods, the author, as a result of analyzing the new Climate Strategy of the Russian Federation, as well as new international legal documents on the global climate agenda and the implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement, identified current risks and threats, prospects for the development of issues of legal regulation of the climate agenda. The global nature of climate change and its socioeconomic consequences requires full and equal international cooperation between the Russian Federation and other countries of the world.
