Abstract
The article examines the problems of the current state of cooperation between states in the field of biological safety, analyzes the works of Russian and foreign scientists addressing the problems of legal regulation of the development of biological technologies, related threats and risks. The points of view of researchers on the existing conditions
of cooperation are highlighted. The regulatory framework for the participation of the Russian Federation in interstate cooperation in the field of biological safety is revealed.
