The article is a detailed review of the books published in the series «Emerging Legal Education» by the Routledge publishing house, discusses the problems of modern legal education in a global context, new research methods, educational technologies, their impact on the development of legal education in Russia and in many countries. It is noted that in the context of the development of technogenic civilization and the processes of globalization, legal education can fulfill the mission of contributing to building a more dignified and just society, forming the institution of «legal service» for society.
